If you could lead a secret investigation into the history of your enemies life. You would there in find such sorrow and suffering so as to disarm all hostility towards them.
This can kinda go with 'kill them with kindness' and 'turn the other cheek' as far as you giving them another chance based off thier bad life experiences.
It's the whole "walk a mile in someone else's shoes" idea. Once you really get to know a person and their life you can see why they are the way they are. It just take s a little digging, but most of the time we can care less what they went through if it is someone we don't like.
I like this "Something to chew on," but I think you have to be very careful. If you do this investigation I think you will be able to understand what a person is dealing with, but if you aren't careful you will empower them to use this as an excuse. We have all had tough thinks in our life, but if we don't learn and grow from them they will just bog us down and give us an excuse to be angry, sad, and abusive to others.
